In our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, we strive to provide a variety of payment options for our therapy services. We accept insurance carriers as a form of payment through our partner Headway. We are currently in the process of being credentialed to accept additional carriers through Headway. For those whose insurance plans we do not currently accept, we offer superbills that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We also accept full rate out-of-pocket payments. Understanding that everyone’s financial situation is different, we offer a sliding scale fee structure to accommodate varying income levels. At this time however, all positions for our discounted or pro bono rates are currently filled. We maintain a waitlist and encourage those interested to ask to be added. When a spot becomes available, we will reach out. Our goal is that everyone who needs support can access it, and we are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all clients.

Important Note about Insurance as Form of Payment

While we are pleased to accept Insurance as a form of payment for therapy sessions through Headway, please be aware that your insurance may not cover the full cost of the session. Any remaining balance not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the client and will need to be paid out-of-pocket.

Insurance Details

  • Headway is able to help our potential clients make better informed decisions about their potential insurance coverage prior to their session.

    To request additional information about using Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (or MA) as a form of payment please email our office staff.

    Include your insurance company name & the name of the clinician you would like to see for services in the body of your message to allow our administrator to better assist you.

  • If you are an established ACTIVE client, who is interested in now using Aetna or Cigna Insurance as a form of payment you will need to sign up for our partner Headways services and speak to our office administrator. Please contact our office administrator by texting 480-274-3863 or by emailing office@beverlygrovestherapy.com to receive the link to sign up and learn more about potential coverage and out of pocket pay.

  • If you have any active health insurance policy, you may be able to get potential reimbursement for your services with us by submitting a Superbill. A Superbill is a detailed invoice that contains all the necessary information about the services our clinician provided to be submitted for potential insurance reimbursement based on your out of network benefits. This is not in network coverage. To request a Superbill please contact our office administrator at office@beverlygrovestherapy.com or text our office at 480-274-3863.

  • We are currently in the process. of being credentialed to accept additional insurance plans from United Healthcare. This will broaden the options for coverage in the near future. Thank you for your patience as we work to expand insurance options for our clients. This service is not currently available, and if you book at this time, it will be out of pocket full rate.

Cancellation Policy


Please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you would like to reschedule or cancel a session.

  • Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling a session or not showing up for a session will result in a late cancellation fee worth the cost of the session.

  • We understand unexpected events can occur. As a courtesy, we may be able to waive the cancellation fee for the first late cancellation or no-show appointment. However, please note that any subsequent late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee as outlined by the policy above.

  • Appointments can be cancelled and rescheduled by emailing our team at office@beverlygrovestherapy.com or by texting 480.274.3863. If you call to cancel/reschedule your session and do not reach a staff member, please be sure to leave a message. The policy will apply based on the time stamp of your message sent. A staff member will follow up with you shortly to confirm your session is cancelled and offer alternative times to schedule.
